Ein Thermostat sollte bei jedem Ölkühlsystem verwendet werden, damit der Motor schneller auf Betriebstemperatur kommt. Dieses für 1/2 Zoll / 13 mm Schlauch vorgesehene Thermostat wird einfach an beliebiger Stelle in die Hin- und Rücklaufleitung des Ölkühlers gesetzt. Das Thermostat öffnet bei ca. 80°C.
